Where do your products come from?
We source directly from small workshops and independent makers. Our current collection is made by artisans in Bangladesh, and we're adding makers from other countries over time.
What does "ethically sourced" mean for you?
We buy directly from the people who make our products, in small batches, rather than through mass manufacturers or long chains of middlemen. That keeps more of every sale with the makers and their communities.
Will my item look exactly like the photo?
Very close, but not identical. Because everything is made by hand, expect small variations in colour, weave, size and pattern. Some photos show products styled in a setting so you can picture them at home.
How do I care for jute?
Keep jute dry and out of direct sunlight for long periods. Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry flat. Don't machine wash, soak or tumble dry. For rugs, shake out or vacuum on low suction.
How do I care for cotton and quilted textiles?
Hand wash cold or use a gentle cycle, separately at first since natural dyes may release a little colour. Line or flat dry in the shade.
